SUMMARY:The Magnificent Bastards' Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Magnificent Bastard’s Challenge is a last runner standing style event hosted in Corinth\, Vermont. Unlike typical last runner standing events\, this one is hosted on a small ski slope called Northeast Slopes where runners have 20 minutes to complete a 1-mile loop and get back to the start to do it again. The course has a total of 330 feet of climbing. Though there is only one winner\, runners and ruckers who last 8 hours will receive a medal. The event goes until there is only one runner left. \n\n\n\nFor the Ruckers\, males will carry 35 pounds and females will carry 25 pounds in their ruck and have 30 minutes to complete the loop. At hour 9\, the time drops to meet with the runners at 20 minutes. \n\n\n\nThe event is named after race director Jason Mozey’s Marine battalion of 2nd battalion 4th marines who’s nickname are “The Magnificent Bastards”. Each loop that is ran is in memory of a Marine from the battalion who lost their lives during an American conflict in the battalion’s history.

SUMMARY:Tour de Glaze
DESCRIPTION:The Tour De Glaze is Stratton’s most fun and flavor-packed mountain bike event of the summer. This timed cross-country race includes a sugary twist: for every donut you eat during the race\, we’ll knock 5 minutes off your total time. \n\n\n\nRacers will climb the uphill trail Ground Control (1 mile\, 650 ft gain) and descend the flowy Trail Forest 1 green trail. Each lap totals about 2.5 miles. \n\n\n\nWe’ll set up the donut station next to the MSS building to hand out donuts and track how many are eaten. Participants can’t start riding until the entire donut has been consumed. Each donut consumed will knock 5 minutes off of your total ride time! \n\n\n\nLearn more here: https://www.stratton.com/things-to-do/events/tour-de-glaze-mountain-bike-race

SUMMARY:Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic
DESCRIPTION:The Trans-Sylvania MTB Epic (TSE) is a multi-stage cross-country mountain bike race (with 3- and 5-day options) in which competitors are expected to be physically and mechanically self-sufficient during each stage. Participants in TSE undertake this challenge with the expectation that they understand and accept this principle. Racers must be in good health and well trained. TSE does not screen participants. It is the racer’s responsibility to determine if they are fit enough to safely participate.
